We had originally booked a condo through palmetto and after booking they called to inform us of an issue with our condo and upgraded us for free. The new room was amazing and they were quick to have a solution to the problem.

Being a vacation property owner, this company has been untruthful to my family. Due to their choice of questionable renters who totally cleaned us and did not inform us that the renter left four months early, breaking his lease! Our property is now UNABLE TO BE RENTED! Palmetto viewed our Condo and agreed in front of my wife and daughter that according to the rental photos and the obvious items stolen that indeed the items were stolen! The Cleaner also agreed that when she cleaned the condo it had very little inside. Melanie from Palmetto stated that she would work with us to reimburse us. After she asked us if we were going to continue renting with us and i stated to suspend rentals at this time, Palmetto refused to reimburse us anything! Therefore i must state the truth, Palmetto is not an Honest Company.

Booking with Palmetto is a joke, the office is closed after 5, they make you take out the trash and want you to clean all the dishes for them. Only provided the bare and I mean very bare essential and nothing else. Most hotels give you at least a day's worth of laundry detergent but not these guys. If you try to call for help it won't do you any good because they close at 5 and aren't open on the weekends. Definitely not worth the price. Never been to a hotel where your check-out date is at 10am. It's ridiculous.

Clean condo, great staff! Would recommend to all who come to Myrtle Beach.

Rented a 1 bedroom condo at The Meridian resort. Not a resort at all. Horrible. There was black mold on the ceiling, the air conditioning unit was leaking water on the bathroom and hallway floor. The bed had all kinds of gross stains. The unit smelled musty and dirty.

Recently stayed at Kingston Plantation St. James place Unit 2-C. The unit was very disgustingly dirty and very outdated. We previously stayed at Kingston and loved everything the neighborhood had to offer so we were expecting a high quality condo. This condo had water bugs all over the unit. The floors were disgusting. We had to clean the entire unit when we arrived before we could get settled. The refrigerator was broken and they knew it and didn?t tell us anything until we called about it which we had to throw away food because it was spoiled from the refrigerator not being able to close all the way. They had curtain rods inside of the refrigerator used as railings to hold food in the side doors. They gave us the wrong WiFi information for the first two days until we figured it out. Just an awful experience all together. I definitely wouldn't choose this unit again.

The view of the golf course was amazing. We enjoyed a few hours in the pool and even was able to use the outdoor grill for dinner. The condo was big, clean and nicely decorated.

Upon booking, all of my receipts and confirmations differed in the agreed upon price. I was glad I saved a PDF of the page after I paid because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to figure out the actual price I paid and if I was getting overcharged. They sent you an e-mail to a portal prior to check-in. It has a messaging feature so you can ask questions. No one answered my e-mail. This was during Covid19 and I wanted to know what the extra cleaning procedures were. Check-in was fine but despite arriving in our window, our condo was not ready. They said it required extra cleaning but didn't expound as to why. We were here for two weeks but they don't offer any additional towels or replacements during your stay. Had to launder them ourselves. What you get is what you get. IMO they don't offer enough information about the individual rentals. Everything is very generalized since they offer so many, so you have to scour photos to know if the unit you are renting has an oven or a dishwasher (because they don't all) or various appliances or cook wear that you might need. The place is pretty barebones with sad, old looking sheets and threadbare blankets. No extra blankets provided so bring your own. The parking garage at my rental was RIDICULOUS. It was so tight and small that I was afraid to park my SUV there. They have a side lot but only a car 16ft or over can park there despite there being open spaces. My guess is that they have to control it because NO ONE wants to park in that garage. My 15.5ft vehicle didn't qualify and they threatened to tow me. There isn't any street parking so it's scratch up your car or get ticketed or towed. Lastly, this is apparently a smoking allowed building (it's renters and owners living here) and despite wanting to sit on my balcony I could not because the person below me literally was chain smoking EVERY SINGLE DAY. Definitely wouldn't rent in this building again. It's a shame because it's a nice oceanfront place, steps from the beach, but the condos and the building are dated. Pools weren't open due to Covid which is fine, but wish someone would have at least disclosed that before we arrive. I would definitely second guess renting from this company again.
