The property was awesome. We greatly enjoyed our visit. We received all of our linens for the bedding, wash cloths and bath towels but no hand towels (not sure if we were supposed to). We will definitely consider renting this property in the future.

Very Unprofessional company ,when you call about concerns . Ana never knows anything and when she tells Travis doesn't call back and when he does he is very rude and kind of brushed off the problem . This company is a joke. Save yourself the headache and rent with a different company. All they want is your money. We had ants crawling on us at night , sink in the kitchen leaking, screen doors for the back porch not closing , window in 1 of the bedroom leaking we had rain for 3 nights and they never came to even look at it. Travis told my husband that it will be a $300 refund for all the inconvenience till this day 2 weeks later have not see it yet.

First time staying in this area for our family. We stayed at Salty Daze for the week and had the most amazing time. Two adults and 5 kids and we were beyond comfortable. The house has literally everything you could possibly think of to take on vacation (so don’t over pack like we did!) The location is great, centered almost evenly between both piers, and just a short golf cart ride everywhere else. We did run into a few issues, some we didn’t even know were happening and maintenance was here within minutes to fix the problem(s). We have zero complaints and wouldn’t change a single thing. This has been the best vacation we’ve ever taken! We will definitely be coming back again.

Surfside Realty Company was very easy to book with. They sent app to use that had all information for the home, check-in and check-out. I was able to share this with all guest. We had a couple of issues with the home. They responded very quickly and remedied the situation. I was very impressed with their customer service.

Our issues are not so much with Surfside Realty, but the owners of the Sandollar. One of the bathrooms’ toilet seats and shower head was unusable and broken. This should have been reported and corrected by the cleaners before arrival. The carpets in both family rooms had crumbs and apparently weren’t vacuumed. The upper floor AC temperature was being remotely controlled and the temperature raised, probably by the property owners. The “furniture “ at the pool was rusty, stained, and ripped, permanently staining a bathing suit. The upper level wing backed chairs were rusted as well. “Palmetto” type bugs and live earwigs were found on both floors. The ceiling fans and all bathroom exhaust fans were filthy. One of the ceiling fans on the upper level didn’t work. Couldn’t close freezer door on upper level fridge due to ice buildup. The AC return vent in the upper kitchen was caked in dust and there weren’t sheets provided for the twin bunk beds. Our families have stayed at the Sandollar on 2 previous occasions without issues. When we pay over $13,000 for a week the house should be immaculate. Just saying…

The Islander J1 was a wonderful condo. We stayed in this unit in 2018 and the remodel & upgrades were beautiful this year 7/2024. Very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were not our favorite (memory foam) but they were nice. Plenty of room for our group of 6 adults. We’d definitely stay there again! Super convenient to beach access. We love the Islander!

My husband and I had all our children and grandchildren come together for a week at Surfside Beach, altogether seventeen of us...The Lone Palm was perfect! The large kitchen and Living Room could accommodate all of us for sit down meals comfortably. The three decks and pool were great. The house was clean. We would have no problem staying again! The elevator was a plus too! Cindy and Robin Jaeger

My wife and I purchased a beach house in Garden City in January. Miles Servant was our realtor. Miles has been very attentive during our one year search which we would expect. However, what has been most impressive, is Miles attention to detail and assistance during the due diligence process and subsequent to the sale. He's assisted in finding vendors to replace our roof and paint the outside of the house. Miles made the entire process very manageable especially since we conducted the process from out of town. We would recommend engaging Miles for anyone looking to sell or purchase property in the Grand Strand area.

Atalaya is the best place to stay in my opinion. I love that they have great staff and are always improving the property. I stayed for three months and can’t wait to come back.

We rented Salty Beaches for an extended family vacation over Thanksgiving week. This was an amazing place to just relax and spend time with family. Our only complaint was that we felt the cookware was on the small size for a house that fits over 16 people. For example, the pots and pans were rather small for cooking for that many people. Other than that, everything was great. We loved the setup of the kitchen and living room. The beds were pretty comfortable. We would definitely visit again.

When we booked our rental for our vacation, the staff at Surfside were very helpful and courteous. Key pick up at check in was great, 4:30 is a little late to check in, but that is fine. We just recently returned from our stay, Water’s Edge Resort, unit 311. The rental itself from Surfside realty was very modern, and the owner had clearly done many updates, new kitchen & bathroom, beds comfortable, view of ocean was amazing. Great wi-FI, amazing big TV, lots of cable channels. The resort itself has done many updates to pool and deck area that are great. BUT here is a review of the service after you arrive from Surfside realty - the condo had only basic surface cleaning done, if that. The ceiling fans were so encrusted in dust, if we turned them on the dust hanging from them would have flung off onto us in our bed! The laundry room door was broke when we arrived, and came crashing down, and the doors so filthy with dust and dirt - literally hanging from the slats in the door - have not been cleaning in a long time. In the kitchen cupboards there were food crumbs and the glasses were so greasy with finger prints, I had to run most items through the dishwasher before we could use them. There was spots of blood on the bedspread - disgusting! The floors were so dirty, my white socks were brown just walking around, and the baseboards are so dirty. This place needs a complete deep clean! The oven is so dirty, when I turned it on, it set off the fire detector! So impossible to use. The unit also needs general maintenance - there is a lack of kitchen dishes - only 4 bowls! There is only basic utensils, and the pots and pans have been used and have had their day. The laundry only uses hot water to wash, and makes a loud noise when in use. And the smoke detector, the battery back up is needing a replacement, so it constantly beeps, and no extra batteries provided. I emailed several times while we were staying at the condo, and phoned and left several messages regarding all these issues. No one has reached out to me concerning these issues. Their customer service is so bad, once they get your money, and you are there, they do not care to help you. No one on vacation should have to re-clean a unit, it should be sanitary upon arrival. A few days in, a maintenance worker from Surfside did show up, but not to address any of our concern, his list was from the previous guests. He did help with a few things, but I addressed a few concerns with him, and again, no response from anyone at Surfside. I feel the owner of this unit would be very disappointed to see their oceanfront home in such disrepair. Surfside needs to completely inspect this unit and the others that they represent. I would hope this is not their usual standard, you pay a lot to rent a vacation home, it should be top notch. Our experience was not. Update - after Surfside responded, I would like to set a few facts straight: Yes, I did initially ask that no maintenance person be sent. But they did send someone, so that request was not honoured. The representative took photos - would they not have reported them? I did email a second time with these issues, more photos, still no response. The day before check out, I phoned, talked to Rachel, explained in detail the issues, left a voicemail with Ana, no response. A few days later, called AGAIN, still nothing. After 5 days, I posted my detailed review. Included all the issues and photos had during our stay. After posting review I FINALLY got a phone call from Surfside Realty. Please, do not present to the public that you had no idea of the issues, or that I didn't want anyone to call me. There were plenty of opportunities to reach out, and I asked you to. After my review, Surfside offered for our next vacation Ana would personally work within our budget to find me a nice rental - Funny, I would think that is what every perspective client should be able to expect from a rental company, that is wouldn't take a 'scathing' review to motivate good customer service.

DO NO RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. Do not stay at Palmetto Paradise. They are all rude do not care about you all they want is your money. The houses they show in pictures are not the same as what you get. They have lawsuits out against builders for the houses knowing they are not safe and still rent them out. They will NOT handle any issues that come up. When they said they were going to issue half a refund they did not issue half they also did not refund taxes. Noone from the place will call you back. We had a broke dryer, washer that would shake and make so much noise you could not even wash clothes, no fans on the porches like the pictures show there should be and ac units on 3rd floor did not work. They ran an extension cord across the room and across the stairs to hook up a portable ac unit. Never told us his was the case so the 3rd floor was unusable for the kids room since the windows are propped open for ac unit and the electric cord running across the steps as a tripping hazard. We called everyday to try to get this fixed they did not care and did not come to move the cord until the day we were leaving so hopefully the next guest would not complain. I have called and emailed and called with no return calls to Director of Rental , Director of Business , Assistant Director of Guest Service. The only time they called back and care was when we let them know one of the children tripped and fell on the extension cord they ran across the steps. And all they wanted was a written statement so they could include that in the lawsuit they already have against the builder. This is a horrible company with horrible customer service.

Surfside Realty Company is great. We were just driving by and we decided to stop in and ask them a few questions and about 30 - 45 minutes later, we signed a 6 month contract on a condo on the beach fully furnished. We didn’t think that we would do this today. The only reason why we had such an awesome experience was due to Mrs Bonnie. She is great. She knows customer service. If you ever have any questions about renting short term or long term or purchasing we highly recommend that you stop by and talk with Mrs Bonnie.

Extremely disappointed in the cleanliness of the room we’re staying at this week - company is unwilling to accommodate switching to a larger rental - no credit or refund whatsoever- current rental has proof of bugs and disorganized- which means unclean. Extremely disappointed in the lack of care to provide an experience for the high cost

Incompetent management. Paid full price for an oceanfront house only to find a view of a construction zone (beach nourishment). Company should have been proactive in notifying renters affected. We were unable to relocate to another handicap accessible oceanfront property at last minute and were told we would be compensated if we stayed at the property we originally rented. Now the manager won't return my calls and still no compensation.

Had reservations for 2 weeks in an ocean front condo in the middle of August. Arrived to find in front of condo, 3 foot pipes coming up out of the ocean and running above ground up the north side of Surfside beach. Out in the ocean were 2 rigs. Routinely construction vehicles would go by. The beginning of our second week things only got worse. Now they had closed the beach in front of our condo for the day and were changing the pipes to go south. For the next 2 nights the beach was lit up like a baseball field at night with the sounds of clanging pipes and beeping of the construction vehicles all night long. As we walked even the north side at night looking for shells, we would see police vehicles with there blue lights flashing escorting the construction vehicles as the continued to move the pipes from the north side to the south. That continued for the remainder of the second week. Surfside Realty never informed us that the beach restoration would be taking place. They were able to notify us that we had to pay an additional 1% tax incease that they automatically charged to the credit card on file. After complaining to Surfside realty management about all the inconvenience we encountered the manager called us a week later to say that we are to expect just under a 14% refund. Although I feel it should have been more we accepted it although we have still the see it. What bothered me more was there lack of concern for all the renters who were never given a heads uplease or a chance to change where we were staying.

4-6 check in was a joke and misleading. Sent several emails with issues at property with no response to even attempt to correct the issues. House was dirty upon arrival, linen package didn't include what we needed, and half our week we can't access the beach in front of our beach front house. Several attempts to reach them with no response!!!!! Obviously they don't care about their guests. Disappointing when there are a multiple places to choose to do your business and you choose this one. The reviews are spot on! Take the warning folks! Update...spoke with someone on phone who said a manager would contact me. 5 days later I am still waiting for that call. My family left early.

To start off, we arrived at our original house [rental property name removed] that had an awful odor and was not clean. We then went to the main office because they refuse to answer the phone. There were several other people in the office at that same time complaining about their issues and very upset..if that tells you anything! We were offered to either wait and have the house cleaned again or switch houses. We didn't want to have to wait 2-3 hours for the house to be cleaned again, so we took the other house as it was clean and didn't have an odor. After all of this commotion, we decided to just not mention anything about the porch light, wifi, or elevator that didn't work. So if you plan to rent [rental property name removed] and need to work from the house or need to use the elevator, please reconsider. Overall, we had a good trip, and we were even planning to go ahead and book a different house for 2018 for our entire family. But that changed quickly when we were leaving and noticed Surfside Realty had charged $400 to our card. We had no idea why we were charged this because no one at Surfside Realty even bothered to come to our house, which was a couple houses down from their office, or call us. We talked with [employee name removed] who originally told us it was an upcharge fee. After a few hours, we finally got in touch with [employee name removed], the director of rentals. He said it was a $250 pet fee plus $150 cleaning fee. All of the sudden they put the blame on us for having pets when we originally booked a pet friendly home. They were the ones who gave us the option of moving to that house. We have two small hypoallergenic dogs who are 5 and 7 years old who are house trained and do not shed. The money does not go to cleaning the house because the carpet doesn't look like it's ever been cleaned as there were several stains throughout the house. This situation could have been handled differently, but instead this company chose to be very unprofessional. This was supposed to be an enjoyable vacation for my family but having to deal with Surfside Realty was a miserable experience, and we won't be renting from them again.

Stayed in [rental property name removed]. Beautifully furnished 4-bedroom right on the beach. See a beautiful sunrise every morning from the private deck or inside at the breakfast table. Have dinner overlooking the ocean. Very open and comfortable. Has to be one of the nicest condo's at Surfside Beach.

Such a great experience! My wife and I came down from Philly and we enjoyed our stay! We did have a slight problem but one of the owner's sons, I think his name was Tyler, helped us out himself! Impressive man!
