Additionally, SoCoastal reviews every single vacation rental prior to making it available to our guests. We will never promote, display or recommend anything that we haven't or wouldn't personally have rented ourselves.

We've worked hard to create a clear, safe and easy booking process for our guests. You'll find an overview of the 4-step process below:
#1) Find Your Rental: You're able to explore on your own or have one of our travel experts help you.
#2) Send a Booking Request: Each Booking Request is carefully reviewed and given 1 of 3 statuses as a result: Accepted, Declined or Conditional.
#3) Pay: We'll only charge your credit card when your Booking Request is Accepted.
#4) Stay: Show up and enjoy your vacation!
Don't panic! Rejection, although unlikely, is possible in some situations. In the case of a declined Booking Request, the pre-authorization hold on your credit card will be released by SoCoastal. You're free to submit additional Booking Requests for other rentals. Also, we'll work closely with you to help find alternate accommodations if need be.
Helpful Note: Pre-Authorization Holds are released by SoCoastal within 2 business days. Keep in mind that it can take your bank at least 3 to 5 business days, sometimes longer, to process the release and make funds available to you.
We safely accept the following major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
If booking is made 46 or more days prior to check-in:
30% of the total to be paid upfront.
If booking is made 45 or less days prior to check-in:
100% of the total is due.
The remaining balance on your reservation is due 45 days prior to your check-in date.
In the event you have an outstanding balance due on your reservation that is not paid in full at least 45 days prior to your arrival, your reservation will automatically be cancelled and all payments made will be forfeited.

In the event we need to issue you a refund, we'll credit the total refund amount to the credit card that was used to create the booking. You can expect to receive the funds from a refund within approximately 5–10 business days after the date on which the refund process was initiated.
Absolutely. Knowing when you'll receive your refund shouldn't be a mystery. We provide our guests with real-time refund tracking so you always know the status.

The check-in location will vary based on the rental property you choose. After your booking request and payment has been confirmed, you will immediately receive a Booking Confirmation Email containing the entire details related to your stay, including the address of the rental property and driving directions to the check-in location.
Upon arrival at the check-in location, the reservation holder will need to present a valid driver's license, authorization signature and a copy of the credit card that was used to complete the reservation.
Check-in requirements may vary based on the rental property you choose. The full check-in details will be included in the Booking Confirmation Email you receive from us.
The check-in time will vary based on the rental property you choose. After your booking request and payment has been confirmed, you will immediately receive a Booking Confirmation Email containing the entire details related to your stay, including the check-in time for your vacation rental.
Will you be arriving after business hours? No sweat! We've required the vacation rental companies and private owners that we work with to have an after hours check-in process in place.
The after hours check-in process will vary based on the rental property you choose, but will typically involve your parking passes and room key(s) to be left for you in a lock-box located outside of the check-in location. The pin code to access the lock-box will be provided to you in the Booking Confirmation Email.
Our commitment to ensuring you have the best vacation possible doesn't end after your booking has been confirmed. We've verified that each vacation rental manager that we work with has during and after business hours support options available to you. If you find yourself needing any type of assistance during your stay, you'll have 2 great options for instant support.
Option #1: The vacation rental manager of the rental property you choose will be your first point of contact. They'll be able to help you with housekeeping, maintenance or any check-in related issues.
Option #2: SoCoastal's support team acts as your secondary point of contact for support. Additionally, we're happy to offer personalized recommendations for local attractions, things to do and places to eat while you're in town. Think of us as your very own personal travel concierge!
The check-out time will vary based on the rental property you choose. After your booking request and payment has been confirmed, you will immediately receive a Booking Confirmation Email containing the entire details related to your stay, including the check-out time for your vacation rental.
